About
TurretLab started as a shared chat between a few friends who kept arguing about which tower defence games were worth the storage space. At some point the arguments turned into long write-ups, and the write-ups turned into this site. We cover strategy and TD titles on Android and iOS, with the occasional detour into other genres when something catches our eye.
Every game we feature gets real playtime. We don't review from trailers or store screenshots. Someone on the team installs the game, plays past the easy opening hours, and takes notes on pacing, controls and how fair the difficulty curve feels once things get tense.
We pick titles based on what people are actually playing and what we're curious about. Sometimes that's a polished release everyone's talking about, sometimes it's a quiet indie TD that deserves more attention. If a game wastes your time or buries its fun under menus, we say so.
The goal is simple: help you decide what to put on your phone before you spend an evening on it. We'd rather write one careful review than ten rushed ones.
