Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games that explains itself in about ten seconds and then quietly eats your afternoon. You drag back a token, aim, release, and watch it slide across the board to knock out targets. The physics feel weighty in a good way — tokens bump into each other, ricochet off walls, and stack up in ways that reward a bit of planning.
What surprised me was how much depth sits under such a simple idea. Later boards add moving blockers and tight angles, so you start thinking two shots ahead instead of just aiming at the nearest target. The one-handed controls are spot on; I played most of it on a crowded tram without any trouble.
It's not a long game to master but it's a lovely one to dip into. Levels are short, restarts are instant, and there's a satisfying little snap of feedback every time a token lands clean. For a pick-up-and-play title it does almost everything right.
